Reflekt Design was founded in 2021 by Sravan Bade. Before starting the practice, Sravan spent five years in construction management, on site, dealing firsthand with what happens when a design doesn't account for how a building actually goes together.
That experience shapes how Reflekt approaches every project. Architectural design is developed with buildability and structural requirements in mind from the concept stage. Where structural engineering is required, Reflekt coordinates directly with trusted engineering consultants, integrating their input into the design rather than treating engineering as an afterthought. The result is better coordination, fewer handoffs for the client, and drawings developed with both consent and construction in mind.
The firm has since designed hundreds of transportable homes and modular two-storey builds, alongside standalone new builds, reclads, renovations and commercial projects, with consent experience across councils from the far north to the Wairarapa.
